We don't have a football discussion going on? Let's start.
Biggest match for me yesterday was Germany vs. Ghana. I think Germany really underestimated Ghana's preparation for the match. Most of the first half, I figure Germany tried to tire them out by just passing the ball back and forth on their side of the pitch, but Ghana really came through in the 2nd half. Right now I'm really debating Germany's chances. I'm supporting them but I figure with all these upsets, they have a real task on their hands. I'm not even going to doubt the USA either when they come up head to head in the next few days.

that game was freaking crazy. Argentina disappointed me today, although it was because Iran basically had 8 people just outside the box at all times. Hope to see USA get a win, cuz it not, its gonna be a doozy with us against germany and portugal vs. ghana.

Spectacular keeping and Fort Knox type defending. I guess it was gonna crack at some point though. |

The lack of activity in this thread makes me sad. Damn Americans. We could talk about it after, you know when the losing teams have to relocate to a country that doesn't give a crap about this sport, like America to spare them self being tarred and feathered in some third world hell hole. |

Good win by Argentina yesterday, the defense needs a lot of improvements though. The next match against Switzerland shouldn't be too complicated
