You had 5 copies of Transformers? No, Team Fortress 2 supply crate keys. People use them as a kind of pseudo currency in Steam trading. It's kind of confusing how it works, but it's really cool and saves a lot of money. If I had had 5 copies of Transformers, I would've redeemed them all. MUTHA frakING TRANSFORMERS, WOOT WOOT. Not if it was that movie tie in game though, bleh

I have Call of Pripyat. It's a pretty fun game, and it's also pretty scary at times. Definitely recommend it.
Admittedly though, I got pretty confused about what to do quite a few times. It's a pretty open game, and it's not always entirely clear what to do.

Any of you guys regularly play BL or BL2 on PC? I'm thinking of picking them up when the BL day of this sale rolls around, but only if I have people to play with. I've soloed those games enough already.

I've soloed those games enough already. I played Borderlands 2 on PS3. Played up to Level 15 or something with a bud split screen. Was pretty fun. Tried to solo it later. Got bored and stopped playing. Also, did anyone else see those Metro Redux benchmarks? The game apparently runs worse than the originals. Totally not what I would have liked. Oh well.

How did 2033 fare? Did it run a lot worse, or was the difference pretty negligible?

Any of you guys regularly play BL or BL2 on PC? I'm thinking of picking them up when the BL day of this sale rolls around, but only if I have people to play with. I've soloed those games enough already. I played Borderlands 2 to its death. Played it too much, got almost every Legendary in the vanilla version of the game, finished every mission in Normal and True Vault Hunter. I still have some DLC to get through, but I don't think I'll be going at that anytime too soon. Do you plan on getting the Pre-Sequel? After I get my monitor and GPU later this year, you can be sure that I'll be picking up the Pre-Sequel as well. As for Metro Redux, I haven't heard anything, but since I have both 2033 and LL on Steam I really don't care to repurchase them. Has anyone seen the new 37 minute footage of Witcher 3? I watched a 60 fps, 1080p download version of it and wasn't too happy about how stuttery it is. I'm guessing the game still has a bit to go until it is optimized.

Negligible, but it is technically worse. www.pcgameshardware.de/Metro-2033-PC-143440/Specials/Technik-Test-1131855/ EDIT: Also, I'm noticing the Redux screenshots for Last Light don't really look better. Just different. Brighter, I think. EDIT: On second thought, the frame hit probably isn't worth it, especially if you have a high end card. It's worse the better card you have, apparently.

www.gamersyde.com/download_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_35_minutes_gameplay-32805_en.htmlAlso, I just checked out PC Gamer's redux reviews. Last Light is apparently not worthy of repurchase if you own the original, but not so surprisingly 2033 has been nicely revamped. Though it may not run better, it probably looks and plays better. Also, 2033 had a lot of weird glitches, at least in my experience. I still probably won't rebuy it as I didn't really enjoy it, but I really did enjoy Last Light. I'll wait for a proper sequel.

I just want to know if the stuttering issues from 2033 are gone.

The person that upped this video says "feels incredibly smooth compared to the original" "Metro 2033 runs silky smooth now with solid frame rate whereas before it was a bit of a resource hungry mother! They have obviously better optimized the game."

I assume you're asking about W3 and not Metro. I would say it is pretty easy to tell that the stuttering was coming from in-game, as it happens at specific times, and at other times the it is very smooth. The video quality also seems pretty pristine, so it doesn't appear to be a 'bad capture' or anything like that. Other W3 videos I've seen have exhibited similar stutter.

It doesn't help that I keep seeing that same swamp place over and over.

I think these issues will be ironed out by final release. Either way.. g-sync will minimize stutter issues so I am happy about that at least, lol.
I should mention I've seen some footage of Witcher 3, I don't remember which exactly, but it was at 60fps and was not noticeably stuttering.

Have you seen those big screens hooked up to Wii Us in stores? They look really smooth. I was in a Best Buy and didn't spot any blurring. I don't know if it was a 120hz or what.

Not too sure what screens you are talking about. Mario Kart 8 (which I own and have played extensively) runs at 60fps and is beautifully smooth to play, though. A lot of in-store displays have heavy post-processing enabled which can make things look far smoother, but at the expense of insane input lag. G-sync, on the other hand, will not 'artificially' makes things smoother. It will make things as smooth as they can possibly get without any post-processing, and without inflating the frame-rate. In some tests I have seen, despite having the overhead of the g-sync module inside the PG278Q, it has less input lag than many tested panels even when their v-sync is off.
